Peppermint Essential Oil

Open the bottle and the cold reaches you before the sweetness does. True peppermint runs high in menthol, and it is the single oil that newcomers most reliably overpour.

Used properly it is bracing and clean, and one drop will lift a floral blend that has gone soft on you. Used heavily it takes over the house.
