Which one should you buy

Take the 1000W if you want the lowest cost, the lightest unit and the option to add capacity later.
Take the 1500W if you want the big battery at the lower price and you never need to run a kettle.
Take the 2000W if you want it to handle anything you plug into it, and you want it charged again in four hours.

Before you compare on price alone

The 1500W and the 2000W use the same 2048Wh battery. They run for the same number of hours. The extra money buys two things, the ability to start and run higher draw appliances, and a recharge time of four hours instead of eight and a half. If you only need to keep a fridge and some lights going, the 1500W does that just as long as the 2000W does.

Common questions

Why would I pay more for the 2000W when the 1500W has the same battery?
Output and recharge speed, not endurance. The 2000W starts and runs appliances the 1500W cannot, such as a kettle or a larger power tool, and it recharges fully in about four hours against eight and a half. If your list is fridge, lights, laptop and phones, the 1500W is the better value.

Is LiFePO4 better than a normal lithium battery?
Yes. LiFePO4 runs cooler, is far more thermally stable, and lasts over 2000 charge cycles, roughly three to five times the life of a standard lithium ion pack. All three units here use it.

Can I take one on a plane?
No. Australian carriers do not permit lithium batteries above 160Wh in cabin or checked baggage. These are 1408Wh and 2048Wh.

How long will delivery take?
The 1000W is 17.5kg and ships as a standard parcel, 2 to 5 business days. The 1500W and 2000W are 39kg and travel by freight, 5 to 10 business days. Both are dispatched from Australia.

What if it arrives damaged?
Contact us with photos as soon as it arrives. Damaged and faulty goods are covered in full, including return freight, at our cost.

Can I charge it from solar panels I already own?
The 1500W accepts 36V to 140V through an MC4 connector, which suits larger fixed arrays as well as portable panels. The 2000W accepts 16V to 22V, also MC4, which is the usual fitting on portable folding panels. The 1000W uses two DC5521 barrel ports, 5.5mm by 2.1mm, and the manufacturer has not published a voltage range for it, so email us with your panel details and we will confirm before you order.
