Anise is the signature, sweet and faintly liquorice, sitting underneath peppermint and spearmint. Basil and tea tree keep it green rather than confected.

It does not smell like anything else on the shelf. That is either the whole appeal or the reason to try it before you commit, depending on the person.

• Blend of anise, basil, eucalyptus, orange, peppermint, spearmint and tea tree
• 3 to 5 drops per 100ml of water in an ultrasonic diffuser
• 100 percent pure essential oils, no fillers
